eBay Research Tools


Like any other method or business you use to make money, eBay auctions also require research to get the highest possible profits.

  • What is the best product to sell?
  • What price are competitors selling it for?
  • What prices did they end up selling for?
  • What keywords are they using?
  • What price did their auctions start with? And end with?
  • What percentage of their goods sold?
  • When is the best day and time to start and end your listing?
  • Is it better for that particular product to have a 7 day listing, or a 3 day listing?
  • What is the true market value of your product?
  • Will the product you have in mind sell for a decent price/profit?

You need to find the best suppliers if you outsource products.
You need to find items to sell on eBay.

Fortunately, research on eBay auctions is very easy, and up-to-date.
No other online store will tell you what products are selling, and how many of them.
You can research on eBay itself by having a look at their completed listings, but while this can tell you a lot, it is very time consuming.
